ICCP Themes 2026
This theme is selected to expose the current generation to knowledge and challenges relevant to their era. In this era of globalization, teachers and students must adapt to challenges related to economic, environmental, and human sustainability.
Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to become responsible global citizens. In exploring themes related to a sustainable future such as climate change, biodiversity, future education, poverty, social justice, and economics, ESD emphasizes the interdependence that defines the world we live in.
Students must understand the interaction between environmental, economic, scientific, and societal health factors when exploring these issues. They should be exposed to ESD because they are the future leaders who will drive innovation and creative solutions in the global marketplace.
